What you’ll achieve
As an IT Senior Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.

You will:

On the Digital Transformation eCommerce Experience team, you’ll work in a modern product team to build cloud native apps using the latest and greatest technologies.

We love to continuously learn and be at the leading edge of Dell and industry trends.

Experience coding, testing and documenting Drupal themes – including all front-end functionality and templates – and modules – using contributed modules and developing custom modules as needed. Handling project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines

Ability to work across multiple simultaneous product development efforts and programs and analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment

Maintain a strong culture of innovation, creativity, and fun.

Leads the implementation of rigorous engineering excellence process and platform improvement initiatives.-Passionate about the customer experience, and ensure every visit is a great experience

Essential Requirements

• 5+years of experience in the Web technologies and industry experience

• Generate unit and functional tests, Analyze business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions

• Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to writing and maintaining Dell quality code using TDD approach

• Expertise in most of the following –Web API (MS ASP.Net ), MVC, WCF, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, JQuery, .Net Framework, C#, Web Services , RESTful Web Services, NService Bus, NSQ, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS, HTML, ReactJS, Bootstrap, Elasticsearch, OOP

• Understanding design patterns and principles for developing microservices

• Proven experience developing REST APIs and Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with cloud native architectures and infrastructure and Vmware Tanzu (Pivotal Cloud Foundry - PCF)

• Knowledge of Razor Pages, Knowledge and proficiency of CICD technologies, Knowledge with message broker technologies (preferably Kafka and RabbitMQ), Knowledge with NoSQL databases (ideally Cassandra) and Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and UIO testing libraries
